Supporting Meade County Schools

 

Dedication and Support

Martin and Tara believe supporting the school system is vital to the community. They have supported numerous sports teams, clubs, elementary schools, as well as school festivals.

Computer Lab

Just as they work to stay current with machinery in the plant they support the youth of Meade County Schools by Donating Money to upgrade computer labs, and get iPads for classroom use.

Football Helmets

And just as safety is important in daily operation, they worked to the Football Booster to be sure the local team was equipped with new and safety certified helmets

 

Boy Scouts of America

Supported local chapter in their annual fundraising event.

 

Guest Speaker Gail McWilliams

They not only help the kids of the community but also the teachers. In 2015 they sponsored Author of “Stuck or Positioned” Gail McWilliams to be the guest speaker as the opening day for the entire district staff.

 

The MAC (Meade Activities Center)

Martin is on the board of directors and donates every year to help raise money for this center. The MAC center is a place for kids and teens to go for after school activities. It also includes a workout facility, and many other accommodations for not only the younger generation but for the interests of all ages. Their vision is: “To create a community focused on improving the lives of children, families, adults, and seniors by promoting healthy lifestyles, social familiarity, and economic prosperity.”

One and two day conferences for women seeking time away from routine; to worship, fellowship, grow spiritually.

MARRIAGE GONE WILD RETREATS

A fun, informative and impacting weekend retreat where couples are equipped with practical tools to refresh, revitalize, rebuild and restore your marriage.

LIVE FREE RETREATS

Live Free is a 24 hour retreat for teen girls and their mothers or mentors

 

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana

PPC has been apart of a number of charitable events. This includes the BIG Masquerade Ball to raise awareness, and funding for children in need of positive role models and mentoring.
PPC employees and their families were also able to sponsor families in need to provide a Christmas that many do not get to experience. Each employee received a wish list, and was able to provide clothing, gifts, food, and the spirit of the season to each of these families.

 

Instruments for Cuba

Through our donations musical instruments were able to be provided to young musicians in Cuba to assist their passion for music.

 

Radiant Church

In a small town new things are often hard to imagine and even harder to make a reality. Tara and Martin have helped local pastors not only image big things, but accomplish big things. With a small launch team, a seed was planted. That seed grew quickly, and within two short years there is a need to build a new sanctuary to hold the growth.

Ghana Outreach

Tara has supported her sister Dina as she has ministered for over 15 years in Ghana, Africa. Dina partners with Christian Faith Church International; teaching at National Conferences, training leaders, planting churches, and holding open air crusades in villages throughout the country.

Tara’s sister, Dina Hackert, is a passionate servant in ministry. PPC works to support here various outreach programs.
